Terms and Conditions of Service / Privacy Policy
1. Scope of Service & Ad Placement
Service Delivery: Paperboat Marketing Co. provides graphic design, layout production, printing, and direct mail distribution services via our individual and shared Local Business Showcase, Community Cards, and Customized Postcards (collectively referred to as our "assets").
Distribution: Mailers are distributed to targeted residential routes of approximately 5,000 to 10,000 households per edition. Exact drop dates are subject to local United States Postal Service (USPS) schedules.
Category Exclusivity: Acceptance of payment guarantees the advertiser exclusive representation for their specific business category within the designated edition of each individual asset.
2. Payment Terms & Onboarding
Deposits: A deposit of 50% is required to reserve ad space and initiate the graphic design process.
Final Balance: The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full prior to the designated production cutoff date. Failure to pay the balance will result in the forfeiture of both the ad space and the deposit.
Recurring Billing: For multi-edition campaigns, payment can be made upfront in full, or automated monthly payments will be processed through Zoho Payments on the scheduled billing dates outlined in the client agreement.
3. Artwork & Production Deadlines
Proof Approvals: Advertisers must provide brand assets (logos, text, offers) and approve final design proofs before the designated production cutoff date.
The "Auto-Approve" Policy: To maintain strict print schedules, if an advertiser fails to submit revisions or explicit approval within three (3) business days of receiving a design draft, Paperboat Marketing Co. reserves the right to print the advertisement as designed.
Errors: Paperboat Marketing Co. is not liable for typographical errors, incorrect contact information, or poor offer performance once the final proof has been signed off or auto-approved.
4. Cancellation & Refunds
No Refunds After Print Cutoff: Because these are cooperative assets with shared printing costs, cancellations cannot be accepted, and refunds will not be issued once an edition has been sent to print production.
Campaign Cancellations: For ongoing multi-edition campaigns, written notice of cancellation must be submitted at least thirty (30) days prior to the next scheduled print cycle.
5. Limitation of Liability & Performance Guarantee
Consumer Response: Paperboat Marketing Co. does not guarantee a specific number of leads, return on investment (ROI), or call volume, as consumer response depends entirely on the advertiser’s market offer and internal business handling.
Our Delivery Guarantee: We guarantee that your advertisement will be accurately printed and successfully delivered directly to the United States Postal Service (USPS) for distribution to the designated residential routes specified in your campaign agreement.
6. Privacy Policy & Data Usage
Information Collection: Paperboat Marketing Co. collects corporate contact information (names, phone numbers, email addresses, and billing details) solely to fulfill our services, process payments via Zoho Payments, and communicate project updates.
Data Protection: We do not sell, rent, or lease client data to third parties. All financial data is encrypted and securely processed through PCI-compliant payment gateways.
Marketing Communications: By signing up for our services, you agree to receive transactional and operational communications (such as design proofs, deadline reminders, and invoices) via email or SMS. You may opt out of promotional communications at any time.
